Widmer's new facility

This place didn’t open until noon. We wandered around and discovered that this part of town is totally shut down on Sunday morning. We got to look at the trains go by and examine their cool new brewery from the outside. When we finally got let in, we ordered two sample tasters of 6 beer each to try out all their beers on tap. They have quite a large variety compared with what they bottle and ship to CA. No wonder since most of them were niche beers and they probably like to concentrate on the pop beers for export.

The food was good. They had a really good Hungarian goulash and other German foods. They serve their beers in everything up to "eine gross Mass" or something like that. You know what I mean! The big ones. We stuck wih the smaller glasses to try more beer.
