Flanders Street Alehouse
We had been here numerous
times. When we first came here, it was just a tiny place
that barely seated a couple dozen people. Since then,
they bought the bar next door, I think it was called
Bogies, and now have a more conventional layout.
Here's my recollections of
the food:
Sushi appetizer sucked.
The wasabi was more like flour and seaweed. Not even a
little spicy.
Ribs where huge at $6.95.
It was 7x9" and quite a deal. The fish was $9.25 and
way overpriced. The burger I had was O.K. Skewers where
tough and chewy according to Jaime and Motor.
Turkey Ruben was good.
Lighter than regular Ruben for people to keep their
girlish figure.
Drinks included IPA and
Highlander. In my opinion they were OK but nothing to
waste typing about. The menus had an Austin Powers theme
that was noticable or at least I wrote about it in my log
(I told you the beers weren't didnt I).
Cool T-shirts. Bought
joysticks one and the ZigZag fishing one.. Mark got the
"Got Ale" T-shirt. I always end up buying stuff
here because their designs for T-shirts and glasses are
always so cool.
Tab $56 + 8
