The Beer Drinker’s Guide to Munich is travel guide of beer gardens in and around Munich. The book is organized as a reference to make it easier to navigate from one beer hall to the next. Each place described in the book is organized with the important facts like telephone, address, map and other pertinent facts in a familiar to examine format to make it easier to read after that 11th Mass of Oktoberfest bier. A description of the establishment follows with any historical details, highlights, facilities and other items. All of the beer halls also have pictures or sketches related to the location.

The book also includes tips for the beer tourist to acquaint them with local drinking customs, drinking songs, and local festival including Oktoberfest. There also information on the types of beer available for those note accustom to drinking german biers like Alt. Kolsch, and Doppelbocks.
