Check it out!

Two new reference books were added to the club library, as approved and funded from the June meeting. The books are a complete set titled "Malting & Brewing Science, Volume 1, Malt & Sweet Wort," and "Volume 2, Hopped Wort & Beer." Both books are 2nd edition by Briggs, Hough, Stevens and Young. Thanks to Bob Jones for selecting these books. This reference set is a wealth of information, and may be checked out by Club members.

The checkout procedure is as follows:

Leave a check with the Treasurer for the replacement value of the book.

Borrow the book for one month.

The check is returned when the book is returned.

If the book is not returned within two months, the check is cashed and a replacement book is purchased.

Renewals can occur if no one is on the waiting list for that book.

This process ensures access to excellent brewing resources that Club members might not be able to afford on their own.
